Still here.

Yup, yup, yup, I'm still here, was missing in action for 1month straight since my last post early Nov.

Why huh? 1st my camera broke down, the lens just wouldn't open and its over 1 year warranty. WHhhhuuaaa. so sad. Thanks to my little princess lor....

Then 2ndly I'd started  working again, 12 hours straight every single day, so tired, at least for Nov and Dec 2010 coz its Xmas season, hubby's biz need extra hands as usual every year....Hmmm.

3rdly, was finishing off my Xmas orders... and the day is getting nearer.......... so time is crucial...

So, once I have got new camera (when sees enough review to buy 1 more, or borrow one)... Postings will be back as usual. Hopefully in January 2010.

Oh I guess that I will be missing in action for another 1 more month since now is December.

I have made this pendant using Rose Quartz and Amethyst gemstone chips.

Rose Quartz was known as the Love Crystals or Love stones.

They can help you attract love and also assist in learning how to love yourself or become more compassionate with others. I have add in Amethyst as I feel that people ought to learn how to love themselves first before providing love to others, hence your love ones. Amethyst can be used to help individuals tap into higher levels of consciousness and is thought to awaken the soul, helping people to realize their life purpose.

Expression series: I Love You Bracelet (BR020)

I'd fell in love with the I Love You in envelope charm when I was bead shopping. Paid a bom for it including shipping. Of course I have to buy other charms as well to gather enough weight for the expensive shipping charges. I can't part with this bracelet myself. I'd even asked my hubby to hold my little princess's fingers to write "I Love You" on a piece of paper and fold it into small pieces to put into the envelope casing including the "I Love You" message charm.

If any of you guys or gals out there would like to buy 1 of this bracelet, it can be made with pink pastel tear drop beads as well as pink heart swarovski crystal, just let me know for customization. However, if this charm is sold out, you might need to wait at least 2-3 weeks for me to reorder again, coz I have limited quantities.

Tecophilaea Bag of Happiness earrings (ER045)

So I made these earrings based on this colour combination.

Lotus Flower pendant (PN014)

Another Pendant, saw this over a magaine, so went to work on it.

I have used almost 2 meter of wire, weaved till fingers stiffen.

Really happy with the result.

Today 10-10-10 is also a great day for wedding, which meant perfect in all ways. I bet the marriage registrar department will be flooded with people today.

Lotus has been associated to many religions for thousands of years.

In Buddhism the lotus flower symbolizes faithfulness. The golden lotus that is mentioned in Buddhist sutras has two meanings, one is the symbol for the achievement of enlightenment and the other points towards a real flower which is beyond our normal perception.

The influence of a lotus flower painting is to open us up to beauty and light. A good lotus flower painting can act as a reminder of the miracle of beauty, light and life. This reminder, communicated on an emotional level, is said to aid both spiritual and practical understanding of Tao, the world and our place in it.

 

Chinese poets also use lotus flowers to inspire people to continue striving through difficulties and to show their best part to the outside world, no matter how bad the circumstances may be. This is understood as being just like the lotus flower, bringing beauty and light from the murky darkness at the bottom of the pond.

So, no matter how much arguments there is in a marriage, hold on, there will be light at the end of the day. Oh yes, never bring anger to bed too.

Although I'm not a Buddhist, I wish God bless all couples that are marrying today, and not forgotten those already married.

Do you know how to add tab pages in Blogspot?

I have no idea how to add tab pages ever since I start blogging. Was searching high and low in blogspot admin, no where to find. :(

Then out of the blue, I notice one of my supplier of stickers ie. thestickermonster have such tabs in her page, so I sent her an email on how to add those.

Guess what she says:
Just "Edit Pages" which is located next to your "Edit Posts".

Only then I noticed its existence!!!! I'm was like, so blind, it was there all this time and I just couldn't see it. Talking about my observation!
