Tecophilaea Bag of Happiness earrings (ER045)



This pot of flowers is named Tecophilaea. Simply love the blue and white combination.

So I made these earrings based on this colour combination.

Materials: Non-tarnished Silver plated copper wire by Artistic Wire, clear and blue czech crystal bicones and clear AB glass crystal rondelles.

Lotus Flower pendant (PN014)

Another Pendant, saw this over a magaine, so went to work on it.

I have used almost 2 meter of wire, weaved till fingers stiffen.

Really happy with the result.

Today 10-10-10 is also a great day for wedding, which meant perfect in all ways. I bet the marriage registrar department will be flooded with people today.

Lotus has been associated to many religions for thousands of years.

In Buddhism the lotus flower symbolizes faithfulness. The golden lotus that is mentioned in Buddhist sutras has two meanings, one is the symbol for the achievement of enlightenment and the other points towards a real flower which is beyond our normal perception.

The influence of a lotus flower painting is to open us up to beauty and light. A good lotus flower painting can act as a reminder of the miracle of beauty, light and life. This reminder, communicated on an emotional level, is said to aid both spiritual and practical understanding of Tao, the world and our place in it.

 

Chinese poets also use lotus flowers to inspire people to continue striving through difficulties and to show their best part to the outside world, no matter how bad the circumstances may be. This is understood as being just like the lotus flower, bringing beauty and light from the murky darkness at the bottom of the pond.

So, no matter how much arguments there is in a marriage, hold on, there will be light at the end of the day. Oh yes, never bring anger to bed too.

Although I'm not a Buddhist, I wish God bless all couples that are marrying today, and not forgotten those already married.

Do you know how to add tab pages in Blogspot?

I have no idea how to add tab pages ever since I start blogging. Was searching high and low in blogspot admin, no where to find. :(

Then out of the blue, I notice one of my supplier of stickers ie. thestickermonster have such tabs in her page, so I sent her an email on how to add those.

Guess what she says:
Just "Edit Pages" which is located next to your "Edit Posts".

Only then I noticed its existence!!!! I'm was like, so blind, it was there all this time and I just couldn't see it. Talking about my observation!

Bag of Happiness Earrings with Pearls (ER044)

Customized piece with white fresh water pearl in potato shape.

Kinda like these earrings, real sparkly with the fresh water pearls.



However, this pair is made with sterling silver wire and sterling silver earring hook.

Mini Bag of Happiness earrings

Another customized piece with small swarovski pearls.
